Hello, my name is Sean Barker and I am an Information Technology (IT) executive residing in southern California currently working in the distribution arena. I live approximately 50 miles South of Los Angeles with my wonderful wife and four amazing children. My children are 19,12,9, and 6 years old.

 I fundamentally enjoy providing a key supporting role to an organization; Preferring to work in the Information Technology field when the core business is not Technology.  The business process development should take a priority over the technology and choosing that  approach allows for the leveraging of technology to the betterment of the business rather than the pursuit of technology for technologies sake.

I have spent many years in IT management and have really enjoyed them. Prior to getting involved with IT, my focus was primarily management  leadership and development of people. I believe that many of the reasons companies do not achieve all that they can is a lack of leadership. If There is no sense of purpose, higher calling, clear mission, values or attainable goals then organizations will fail. Putting these into place is one of the things I enjoy doing. Seeing people get involved in something they believe in is a blessing to be a part of.
